Description
Scent behaves differently in heat. It moves faster, and it leaves sooner.
This gives it somewhere to sit. A small stainless bowl hung above the stones on three chains, warming with the room rather than resting on it.
The bracket is a short arm on a wood mounting block that screws to the wall, so the bowl hangs out clear of the heater and lifts off when you want to fill or rinse it. The bowl is a plain stainless hemisphere, and each chain fastens to a welded loop at the rim rather than hooking over the edge.
It holds a couple of hundred millilitres, which is water with a few drops of oil in it, not a reservoir.
Hang it where the heat comes up and leave it there.
